BEING A MOTHER.
There is no longer any doubt about the truth of the assertion that “woman is the mother of humanity.” Being a mother is a heavy responsibility. This role is not limited to giving birth but also involves nurturing and caring.
In other words, a woman plays a significant role in the education within society, which is composed of families. She is not the only one responsible for educating, but her contribution is immense. The question then arises: is it possible to be effective in our role as nurturers if we ourselves have flaws?
What happens when we lack strong moral and ethical values to guide us? This is the core issue. Thus, a young woman’s work must begin with herself. Acquiring strong and just values is essential to be able to pass them on because we can only give what we possess. We all know the saying, “Like mother, like daughter.”
In other words, we must begin to resemble what we want our offspring to become because we have a significant influence on them. This is not to say that parents are necessarily responsible for the negative actions of their children, but it is about playing our role well and giving our best.
Being a role model is a noble form of teaching, as children learn a lot through imitation. A child’s memory is like a blank page on which we write through our teachings and behavior, because for the child, their surroundings are the first reference point in society.
The right time to build good character is during youth. The major changes in society do not make things easier. The evidence is clear. Evil is increasing, the degradation of morals is trivialized and considered simply as a transformation of society that we must now adapt to.
It is therefore more essential than ever to stay close to this youth that is losing its bearings, suffocating in a world that overwhelms it. As a young woman, you should be able to find a role model around you and work to resemble her. I was particularly influenced by my mother, who spared no effort for the success of her household.
She was an unwavering support for my father. Strong and robust, always anticipating events, an entrepreneur at all times despite not having a high level of education. Even in her old age, she has not given up and recently opened a daycare center. What a challenge for me as her child!
Furthermore, religious life also plays an important role in the formation of a human being. The values of respect and ethics are upheld there. Every human being would benefit from referring to them…
