Being in the Place Where God Awaits Us.
In a vision, the place is indispensable. To give an example, we can say, “You can trade pigs, but if you choose an Islamic neighborhood to sell them, you won’t get a good result—not because you’re incapable, but because you are in a place that doesn’t align with the business you’re doing, and that will become an obstacle to your vision.”
Being in the place where God expects you to be will allow your vision to manifest. Abraham had the promise, but he was in his father’s house: “I will make you into a great nation” (Genesis 12:2). When this word was to be fulfilled, he left his father’s house, because that place had become an obstacle to the manifestation of God’s plan in his life (Genesis 12:1).
We must remember that “the arrival of the promise does not depend on the place, but its fulfillment does.” Many people are stuck in the fulfillment of their vision, not because of demons, witches, and the like, but because of the place where they find themselves.
“Even if the place is comfortable, if it doesn’t align with God’s vision for you, it’s a coffin that will bury you alive.”
“There was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizzites then lived in the land. Abram said to Lot, ‘Please, let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are brothers. Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me: if you go to the left, then I will go to the right; or if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.’ Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well-watered everywhere—before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah—it was like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord.” Genesis 13:7-12
From this passage, we understand that there are circumstances that can lead us to end up in the wrong place, in a space where we never planned to be, in the hands of people we never expected.
“It is said that the place was like a garden of God, but it was not the garden of God.” That is to say, there are places that give us the impression of being places where God awaits us, but in reality, they are not. Don’t be with the person you believe to be the man or woman of your life, but rather be with the man or woman of your destiny.
Avoid living in uncertainty; instead, be consistent or objective about what you are doing. We must understand that despite everything that happens to us, or despite the qualities and skills of the people who try by all means to enter our lives, we should not accept without God’s approval, for He knows us best, and He knows what He has reserved for us. Here are three essential things not to do:
Do not argue with anyone to gain something, but rely on your God; Do not tarnish others’ lives to get what you need, but rely on God; Do not shed tears due to disappointment or depression, but rely on God. Do as Nehemiah did when he said:
“So I answered them, and said to them, ‘The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.’” Nehemiah 2:20
