Born on March 6, 1964 in the center of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Roland DALO is a man of faith and family. He has been married to Viviane MALEMBA for many years and together they have four daughters: Eunice, Roanne, Gloria and Johanna.

He accepted Christ as Savior and Lord in 1985 and was converted on November 6 of that year. Called to the ministry in 1989, he has worked full-time in this field since 1991. Since his conversion, he has worked within the Assemblies of God in Congo.

His pastoral journey is rich and diverse. He was first Pastor in charge of youth in his church from 1991 to 1993, then from 1993 to 1996. From 2001 to 2006, he served as Assistant Pastor to Pastor Jacques André VERNAUD at the Evangelical Center “La Borne” , the largest Pentecostal church in the DRC and even in central Africa.

From January 1997 to December 2000, he studied with his wife at the East Africa School of Theology in Nairobi, Kenya, where they obtained their degrees in theology. In addition, Pastor Roland DALO holds a diploma in Christian communication from the International Center of Kinshasa, obtained in 1991.

Currently, he is the Senior Pastor of the Philadelphia Mission Center, a church founded on February 24, 2008. At the first service, 1,200 people were in attendance, and today, the church has approximately 4,000 members. This success is seen as a divine grace and the fruit of many years of ministerial service in Kinshasa, enriched by the integrity of his collaborations.

Having grown up in a modest environment and witness to the spiritual and material misery of his country, God entrusted Pastor Roland DALO with a message of hope and family recovery that he has been preaching for 21 years. Although he is interested in all age categories, he carries a particular burden for youth.
