Ruth Williams is the author of a poetry colllection, Flatlands (Black Lawrence Press, 2018), two chapbooks, Nursewifery (Jacar Press, 2019) and Conveyance (Dancing Girl Press, 2012). Her poetry and creative nonfiction have appeared in jubilat, Fourteen Hills, Michigan Quarterly Review, South Loop Review and Third Coast among others. Her scholarly work on women’s writing and feminism has appeared in College Literature, Tulsa Studies in Women’s Literature, The Journal of Popular Culture, and Michigan Feminist Studies. Currently, Ruth is an Associate Professor of English at William Jewell College and an Editor for Bear Review.
