BREAKING PACTS MADE WITH THE DEVIL.
With the blood of birds, my father, the custodian of the village fetishes, made pacts with the devil to protect us from diseases such as measles, meningitis, tuberculosis, etc. Upon becoming a Christian, it was necessary to confess and break this alliance, choosing to remain with Christ from that point forward. Without confession and without breaking the covenant with demons, there will be obstacles in our lives. The early church understood this truth and put it into practice.
Indeed, the book of Acts of the Apostles reports in verses 18 to 20 of chapter 19:
“Many of those who had become believers came and openly confessed what they had done. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way, the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.“
Those who have built their wealth, professional positions, or social status on alliances with idols are well aware of the consequences of breaking such alliances. That is why some entrepreneurs, administrative or political leaders, sacrifice oxen and sheep every Friday or every month.
The same consequences apply to those who have converted but whose parents or themselves had made pacts with Satan through blood.
If you have experienced such practices before becoming a Christian, do you now understand why you do not have victory, cannot pray or fast, and why you are not progressing in your professional, family, and social life?
Such individuals are often sought after in their neighborhood or workplace to solve complex problems because their expertise is recognized. But it stops there! After they have been used, they are forgotten, and the next difficulty is awaited to again seek their expertise or wisdom.
Other people in the same situation may experience memory loss or income disappearing into unnecessary or illness-induced expenses, significant vehicle breakdowns whenever they earn money, etc. The consequences of unrenewed pacts can also lead to infertility or celibacy.
Their situation is explained by the existence of an unbroken alliance. It is up to them to apprehend this alliance, break it through confession and renunciation from their own mouths, and then remain faithful to the covenant sealed by Christ in His blood.
