BROKEN HOMES MAKE BOYS VULNERABLE.

KEY VERSE:Let Reuben live, and not die, and let his men be numerous!” (Deuteronomy 33:6 KJV)

We have already seen the effects that broken homes have on young girls, but now let’s examine the challenges faced by young boys when homes are broken. Boys raised in broken homes are more likely to be aggressive and suffer from attention deficit disorders. They are more prone to delinquency and school suspensions than boys raised in two-parent families.

A study revealed that boys raised in single-parent households or with stepparents and blended families are twice as likely to end up in prison. Furthermore, boys from broken homes tend to lack role models and proper guidance. They are more likely to adopt negative behaviors that can lead them to substance abuse and criminal activities.

Boys who grow up without a father figure may also struggle to develop healthy relationships and face challenges in their emotional growth. The Bible says:

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52, KJV)

All mothers, especially those raising boys alone, should pray that the grace that was upon Jesus may also rest upon them.

PRAYER
Jesus, our Lord and Savior, may the wisdom and stature of Your life rest upon our boys and young men today. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen.
