Come Out When You Need to Come Out, Hide When You Need to Hide.
In God’s vision for a person’s life, timing is of great importance for its fulfillment. In reality, God does not know “Chronos,” which is continuous time, but He knows “Kairos,” which is the moment of His intervention in a person’s life. When Jesus tells Mary, “My hour has not yet come” (John 2:4), He was not referring to “Chronos,” but rather to “Kairos,” the moment of His intervention. Thus, we understand that God does not act at every time or moment in a person’s life.
It is therefore necessary for the individual to learn to understand God’s vision for them, set for its realization or accomplishment. You risk failing if you come out or act outside of God’s time of intervention in your life, and you also risk failing if you hide when it is time to come out.
Many do not understand that with God, one must neither be ahead of time nor behind time. In the Bible, we see the angel telling Elijah to hide:
“Leave here, turn eastward, and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan.” (1 Kings 17:3).
If Elijah had relied on his own strength, he would have failed, for that time was not suitable for battle. We must hide when we need to and come out when we need to. We live in a time where most Christians are in a hurry; they want to come out before the time. They say to themselves, “God has spoken to me too, I have also received something from God…” Of course, God has given you something, but when should you come out?
Jesus Christ, our Master, God on earth, waited 30 years before starting His ministry. God sent Paul to Ananias approximately 14 years before he came out.
