The prophet Daniel, through two major visions, unveils the enemy’s dark plan and sheds light on the Antichrist’s strategy to dominate the world. In Daniel 7, the prophet describes a vision that encompasses history from his own time to the end of days. He sees the four winds of heaven stirring up the great sea (a symbol of the peoples of the earth), from which four great beasts emerge, each different from the others (Daniel 7:1–7).

These beasts represent four successive kingdoms:
● The winged lion represents Babylon;
● The bear symbolizes the Persian Empire;
● The leopard refers to the Greek Empire;
● The fourth beast, terrifying and possessing extraordinary power, corresponds to the Roman Empire and the Antichrist.
The Apostle John completes this vision in Revelation, declaring:

And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads were blasphemous names. The beast I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.” (Revelation 13:1–2)

In this description, the Antichrist combines the attributes of the three previous kingdoms, thus embodying an evil coalition that reappears at the end of time. This dynamic is reminiscent of the god Assur, who represented the totality of Sumerian deities. Within this satanic coalition, each entity plays a specific role, contributing to a global project: to eradicate God and His influence over the world of men.

Faced with an adversary of such magnitude, it is unthinkable to fight alone. Victory can only be achieved through a coalition. The prophet Micah shows us the path to follow:

He (Christ) will be our peace. When the Assyrian invades our land and marches through our fortresses, we will raise against him seven shepherds and eight leaders of men. They will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, the land of Nimrod with drawn sword. He will deliver us from the Assyrian when he invades our land and marches across our borders.” (Micah 5:5–6)

Thus, the divine coalition must be composed of shepherds and certain heads of state. Without this union, it is impossible to stand against the Assyrian of the end times.
