There are pillars that you must destroy. God says that He has established you over nations so that you may uproot, tear down, destroy, and overthrow (Jeremiah 1:10).

The first nation God establishes you over is your own life. That is why you must declare that from you onward, generational curses stop. The Bible teaches us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, powers, and evil spirits (Ephesians 6:12).

Rulers are spirits that influence nations. This means that depending on your place of birth or that of your parents, certain spirits have attached themselves to you to prevent you from fulfilling your destiny. Authorities can be spirits that influence your principles and thoughts.

In a family context, authorities can be spirits that influence those established over your life, meaning your ancestors. If none of them have made a covenant with Jesus, you will find the devil at the top of your family tree, which is why he has authority over you. This is also why you must come under God’s authority. You must accept Jesus not only as Savior but also as Lord. “Lord” means “Master,” “the One I obey,” “my authority.”

There are forces preventing you from getting married, curses rising against you, but in reality, everything depends on the authority under which you place yourself.

Evil spirits, positioned in the second heaven, can distort your understanding of a word from God so that you do not accept it, with the goal of preventing you from doing what God says. They can also delay a promise or answer from God that you are waiting for (Daniel 10:12-13).

In response to all this, you must take time for prayer and retreat to seek God. You must pray based on the Word and also pray a lot in tongues. When you pray, you must first enter into God’s presence. Second, you must allow yourself to be filled with this presence.

Third, you must surrender completely to the Holy Spirit. For each of these phases, you can spend an hour. You must immerse yourself in the Word of God. It is like a mirror that reveals what is wrong in you—iniquities and sins. Indeed, if you do not know the Word, you will do things that do not come from God.

Young people today no longer value the Word or minimize it, but you must understand that just because God does not strike you down like Ananias and Sapphira does not mean He agrees with what you do. Sooner or later, He will….
