Divine Visitation in Your Finances
You need the visitation of God in this area, especially because one of the greatest giants fighting believers is the giant of financial matters. The enemy knows how to deceive us and make us accept poverty or work with a poverty mindset. He tells us, “Save what little you have.” Consequently, we are so focused on holding onto and managing what we have that we neglect the principles of God’s Word and fail to realize that it’s the Lord’s blessing that makes us rich.
It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22
If a person lives under Satan’s lies, they will be unable to release what’s in their hands. They won’t be givers, and even their decision to save money will be based on fear. This ultimately leaves them in a defeated mindset that controls their life. You must refuse to walk in the dark with your benefactors. It’s not your work that has brought financial breakthrough; it is God who provides.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
When darkness reigns, movement is limited. For instance, if you drive at night, your speed will be slower than during the day because darkness tends to slow you down. However, the presence of God has shattered all those born of it.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5
The presence of the Lord is the provision of the God of light. It is the presence of Jehovah Himself.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid ? Psalms 27:1
So, ignite the light of God’s Word so that you can prosper in all that you do. God has visited you to establish your right to redemption, the right to be blessed, and to administer the blessings and riches of Christ. Understand the purpose of His visitation.
You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18
He has prosperity and wealth in His house, and His righteousness endures forever.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments. His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Psalms 112:3
The world we live in is governed by an age-old Babylonian system based on scarcity, rarity, and opportunity. Even when there is no shortage, people deliberately create an artificial scarcity to maintain prices at the levels they desire. Divine visitation connects you through the heavenly covenant to divine provision. In this relationship, lack does not determine what God provides. God blesses because of the covenant. It is wrong to believe that God merely meets needs or only makes arrangements to meet needs. In reality, He wants to give to you so that you can benefit from His covenant.
I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips. – Psalm 89:34
He has already guaranteed that His covenant will not weaken, so do not let the world’s standards determine God’s blessing. It’s time to tap into God’s supernatural supply. This power is mighty, and we see several examples of it in the written Scriptures. The God who visited the widow with nothing but a small jar of oil and turned her poverty into abundance can visit you and do the same. God’s visitation, in the realm of financial poverty, can manifest through ideas that break the bounds of poverty. The widow could have missed her visitation if she had not listened to the prophet. The steps he proposed seemed ridiculous, but the woman obeyed and witnessed the miracle.
So, prepare for God’s work to be done in your life, for God’s Word to bring you a breakthrough of geometric proportions, beyond what you can do, produce, or bear on your own. God’s visitation will lift you out of poverty and anchor you in God’s Word.
Many people have ignored God’s visitation and missed out on what God had for them. They fail Him due to ignorance of the Word, ignorance of His value, ignorance of the world they live in, and ignorance of what God wants to do in their lives. God gave instructions to Moses regarding those who would produce the utensils of the temple and said He would visit them at night to show them how to make the necessary items for the temple.
I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. Psalms 16:7
Divine ideas can change your life and propel you forward. The lack of ideas and insights hinders many people from becoming what God wants them to be. It’s not a natural force that elevates a person. A man’s operational platform is changed through divine visitation.
I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11
True prosperity is often the result of divine visitation and impartation. Peter worked all night and caught nothing. Jesus visited his boat, and the story changed.
Simon answered, ‘Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word, I will let down the nets.’ Luke 5:5
He will guard the feet of his faithful ones, but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness, for not by might shall a man prevail.
By might, no man can prevail. But through God’s visitation, a man’s story can completely change.
