Do Not Let a Generation Pass Without Investing in It.

Do not let a generation pass without your investment being represented in it. Some of the children many of you see and support are the future men of God, the future leaders (presidents, MPs, ministers). These are the next authorities that many are pushing forward without realizing it. This is my passion: God looks at it and says, “I raise you for myself.” That is already selfishness.

If you invest in people selflessly, I can tell you that they may ignore you for a while, but the reality of your investment will one day lead them to realize that not everyone is that selfless. For someone, you can start with your own children.

Many people have succeeded, yet they push away those who once claimed to be their friends. And you’ll notice that those who stay close to them are the ones who fed them intellectually, spiritually, and otherwise. I can tell you this: no matter the anointing I carry, no matter the blessing upon me, if I went today to see someone from our fathers’ generation—someone like Baba Adeboye—even if I miraculously took off a human head and put it back on, they might thank me, but they’d still be on their way to Redemption Camp. Because that is the voice that grew with them.

The key to transgenerational relevance is not just to impact a generation, but to grow with that generation by laboriously investing in people. They may not reward you, but invest in them sincerely.

A day will come when presidents of nations will be the fruit of your apostolic work. Impact them sincerely and watch them grow. Their honor and elevation are what will keep you standing. God does not throw people away—He lifts them. And whatever is lifted is lifted because it is connected to the ground. No matter how tall a skyscraper is, it doesn’t float. Anything floating in the air will eventually fall. Reminder:

● Build your capacities.
● Build strategic destiny relationships.
● Invest selflessly in blessing and transforming as many lives as possible.

I imagine some of you saying, “You’re just talking, you don’t know how many children are brought to my home to be raised. Nearly 90% of them have become successful.”

Don’t worry—you will reap what you sow, not where you sow. You may sow in Nigeria and reap in the United States; it is still your harvest. One child among all who succeed can be worth a hundred children. Hallelujah.

I once heard a man of God say: “It is better to be kind than to be right.” There will be many times when you’ll need to choose kindness over being right. Pressure will prove that you were right. So it’s nobler to pursue kindness. Sometimes you are right, yet you still fail. Being right is not always synonymous with success, and it’s not always synonymous with victory. But kindness is always synonymous with victory. Hallelujah…
