ETERNAL DAMNATION.
This statement may seem very harsh, but I must be honest. A soul that knows the truth yet deliberately chooses to live a life of sin without remorse will not have a share in the heavenly Jerusalem. A person who toys with God’s mercy is questioning His wisdom.
When we sin intentionally, planning to repent later, know that God is not deceived. He knows the depths of our thoughts. God is God, and our hidden intentions are not foreign to Him. So, be sincere in your repentance and stop trying to manipulate God. Arguments like, “What’s the point? We’re going to get married anyway,” which many Christians love to use, are not true repentance but circumstantial manipulation.
In doing so, even if the two people do eventually get married, they still remain in darkness because their repentance was not genuine. In the end, they persist in a curse without even realizing it. If you fall into this category, sincerely repent.
Indeed, when we are married, we are no longer under the bondage of fornication. Undoubtedly, we may then conclude that it no longer concerns us, right? Let me assure you of one thing, dear ladies: repentance means “to change one’s way of thinking,” to change your mind, your goals, and your opinion on a matter. This means that it is first and foremost the thoughts of our hearts that are changed, transformed by the light of Christ before becoming an outward reformation.
If you live a life of fornication without regret, only to get married peacefully later on, have you not just followed the normal course of things? Don’t pagans do the same? Let’s always remember that God looks first at the attitude of our hearts before examining the nature of our actions. Indeed, man looks at what is visible, but the Lord examines the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7b.
“But Jesus did not trust them, because he knew them all too well. Indeed, He didn’t need anyone to inform Him about people, for He knew the depth of their hearts” John 2:24-25.
If this is the state of your heart, it is not too late for you to change and stop doubting God’s intelligence. He knows what you are scheming before you even put it into practice.
“Repent of your wicked thoughts and pray to the Lord so that the intention of your heart may be forgiven” Acts 8:22.
At first glance, life may offer us thousands of paths, but when death comes, each person will have only two paths to choose from: heaven or hell. It’s the life you lead today, even in secret, that will determine where your destiny lies. Hell is not just a myth. It is not merely an illusory world, as many believe or are led to believe.
Even as you read these lines, many souls are being lost to hell daily due to a lack of seriousness about sin. Doesn’t that affect you? Don’t forget that you could be one of those people. Regrets and repentance are no longer necessary in hell. The possibility of escaping from there is almost impossible.
Always keep in mind that a spiritual world awaits you after you leave this earth, and no one can escape it. Your actions will be judged accordingly. The chance to repent and live an authentically sanctified life only lasts during our earthly lives. Remember that the Lord does not want to see us go to such a place.
So, dear Church, be aware! Speaking about sin without addressing its most alarming consequence would be of no use.
“Therefore, I will judge you, each according to your ways, house of Israel, says the Lord God. Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your downfall” Ezekiel 18:30.
“The acts of the flesh are obvious: fornication… Today I tell you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” Galatians 5:19.
“Unless you repent, you will all perish” Luke 13:5.
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the fornicators, nor the idolaters, nor the adulterers… will inherit the kingdom of God” 1 Corinthians 6:9.
“Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the fornicators, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood” Revelation 22:15.
