First of all, God said: “I am clothing seers in this season…”. This does not mean that seers do not already have an existing mantle. But God is delivering new mantles. Specifically, you may have a mantle. Perhaps you like your mantle. There’s nothing wrong with your mantle, but someone gives you a new mantle to bless you. The new mantle might be a different color, fabric, or serve a different function. Perhaps you have a raincoat and someone gives you a ski jacket or a winter coat.

God can call you to wear specific mantles for specific missions. God can choose to increase the anointing on your life (usually after successfully enduring a trial). God may move you into different graces, either temporarily or permanently. Just as your anointing can change, so can your mantle. God is clothing seers who qualify this season with new mantles.

Notice that God specifically envelops seers and gives an anointing to enter a new dimension of His grace, revelation, and glory to those who have turned to see His voice speaking to them, record the dreams and visions He has revealed, and manage the mysteries He has unveiled. In other words, He takes care of the faithful.

We must position our hearts to hold Moses when he turned aside to see the burning bush (see Exodus 3:3). We must stand like the Apostle John who repeatedly during his epic vision in the Book of Revelation said, “I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me.” This language indicates that John was in a seer dimension.

Recording what you see and hear in the seer dimensions is vital. God wants you to recount His movements and His voice so you can meditate on the revelation and, at times, leave a record for the next generation. As I share in my book, Decoding Your Dreams, you risk forgetting the finer details of what you see if you do not record it.

When you read the visions of Ezekiel, Zechariah, and John the Revelator recorded in the pages of the Bible, you will find profound details that have left Bible scholars, as well as prophets and seers of the new era, with prophetic symbols that can unlock deeper insights into God’s plans.

Every detail God shares in the seer dimensions deserves serious consideration. Even minor details can offer major revelations. Chronicle what you see, meditate on it, pray over it, share it with others who can provide additional insights. It is a spiritual principle we see in Luke 16:10: “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.” Or as The Passion Translation puts it: “The one who manages the little he has been given with faithfulness and integrity will be promoted and trusted with greater responsibilities.”

Think about it for a minute: why would the Lord give you a new mantle and a new anointing if you are not faithful with what you already have? Why would He entrust you with greater works when you are not stable in the mundane? Why would He share more dreams if you do not recount them, meditate on the details, seek their interpretation, and apply the revelation? What is the point of sharing His secrets with those who take the word of the Lord lightly?

A Holy Invitation

In the prophetic word, it is said: “I invite My seers to forget the persecution of the past and embrace the next level of My call for them. This is a holy invitation. It is not an invitation to false seers or self-proclaimed seers. Understand that there are levels to your call. The Lord says:

“It is time to move to the prophetic level. Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. He brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side.

And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.”

As long as you look back on persecution—as long as you carry a persecution complex you cannot walk in the fullness of your call. You cannot wear the new mantle if you walk in fear of the persecution the new mantle might bring.

God is not going to give a new mantle to someone who has wrapped their face in the old mantle and refuses to come out of the cave. If you are not willing to share what the Lord wants you to share with whom He tells you to share, He will not elevate you…
