FIVE WAYS OF GIVING THAT PLEASE GOD.

1- You please God when you give even when you are overwhelmed with problems (2 Corinthians 8:1-2).

It is important to understand that this kind of attitude is a way to please God when you give to Him. When your life is filled with problems, that is precisely when you should give to God. Sometimes, He uses circumstances as opportunities for us to grow. God wants us to learn that when we feel burdened by circumstances, that is the moment we should practice the grace of giving the most.

2- You please God when you give even in extreme poverty (2 Corinthians 8:2).

Poverty is when you do not have enough to meet your needs and take care of those you love most. You can give to God with great joy even when you are in extreme poverty. Not only do you please God when you give in times of distress or extreme poverty, but also:

3- You please God when you give beyond your ability (2 Corinthians 8:3).

Understand that the Bible encourages us to give beyond our ability, not just from our surplus. A biblical example is the widow who gave all she had.

4- To please God, you must give generously (2 Corinthians 8:2).

We must always consider our generosity and joy when giving to God. This kind of attitude greatly pleases Him. A great example is Abraham, who was willing to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice to God.

5- Give with enthusiasm (2 Corinthians 8:4; 9:7).

People often look for reasons not to give to God’s work because they do not understand the privilege of giving. However, we must recognize that it is every Christian’s responsibility to invest in God’s work for its advancement.
