In John 20:21, Jesus Christ said, “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.”

The work of ministry is a mission that comes from the Father, so when you are called to do something for God, you can be sure that God Himself supports you.

In John 5:30, Jesus said, “I can do nothing on my own.” This is because whatever you do for God, you cannot do it by yourself, but the Father who sent you will bring you His support. This is good news because all you have to do is tell Him, “I cannot do it by myself, Lord, but I know You can do it through me.” There is something called “the God factor.” Let God do it. However, He can only do it if you are willing to cooperate. If you believe He can do it, He will.

If you believe He can use you to heal the sick, you will have to pay the price, and then He will bring the results. Whatever task God gives you that seems impossible, talk to Him, do your part, and He will produce results through you.

In Yoruba land, one of God’s names is Oronmonisé faya ti. This means the one who sends a child on a mission and supports them. When God sends you on a mission, He stays with you and gives you the power to accomplish the task. God will make you powerful.

Many people do not fulfill their missions because they do not go before God to get instructions. They start the work, but they barely pray for guidance, whereas it is in prayer that God will give them instructions on every step to take. They continue to do everything to make the work succeed, but when it is time to make decisions, they do not ask God for the best decisions to make. After a while, when they realize they are not accomplishing the mission, they accuse God of helping others and not helping them.

Beloved, you can do nothing of yourself (John 15:5). The work God has given you to do cannot be accomplished by your strength or power but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). If you truly want to fulfill your destiny, do not rely on your intelligence. God will make you powerful.

Rely on God.
