The term “Having a hard forehead” is found in Ezekiel 3:8-9, where God says: “Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces, and your forehead as hard as their foreheads. I have made your forehead like diamond, harder than flint.” This expression means that God gave Ezekiel the strength and resilience necessary to carry out his prophetic mission in the face of a stubborn and rebellious people.

Firstly, “having a hard forehead” symbolizes determination and firmness. Ezekiel had to be unwavering and resolute in his mission, as he would face strong opposition. The hardness of the forehead represents the ability to remain unyielding and not retreat in the face of adversity.

Secondly, this expression reflects divine protection. God equipped Ezekiel with a sort of spiritual armor, allowing him to withstand criticism, mockery, and verbal attacks from those who rejected his message. Nothing will be easy when it comes to managing and administering the land; as we strive to operate in spheres of influence, we will face relentless opposition. Having a hard forehead will allow us to endure and stay focused on the mission. It is an assurance that, despite the challenges, Ezekiel would not be broken by the resistance he would encounter.

Thirdly, “Having a hard forehead” emphasizes the importance of perseverance in the mission. Ezekiel had to continue delivering God’s messages, even when the people rejected his warnings. This persistence is essential to fulfill God’s will and to give the people every chance to repent.

Fourthly, the expression also evokes the idea of deep conviction. Ezekiel had to be fully convinced of the truth and importance of his message in order to stand up to an unresponsive people. This conviction made him impervious to negative influences and enabled him to remain faithful to his mission.

Finally, “Having a hard forehead” can be seen as a metaphor for the hardening necessary to carry a difficult message. Prophets like Ezekiel often had messages of judgment and correction to deliver, and they had to be ready to face hostility and resistance with courage and tenacity.

Having a hard forehead teaches us the importance of determination in everything we do. It is not about starting and giving up halfway—no! It’s about starting something and seeing it through to the end. We are all watchmen here, because bringing God’s reign to the earth is done through those who pray and intercede.

Delivering and birthing ethnos is reserved for those who can stand before the face of God all night, for months, crying out for territories, nations, families, and businesses. Don’t be naive—Satan and his kingdom will not let us go unchallenged. That is why we must have a hard forehead. The more we rise in prayer, the more the enemy’s camp will activate to counter us.

The world needs us—we can bring light to this earth where darkness wants to take over. The spiritual aspect must not be overlooked, which is why this chapter is one of the most important. Watchmen, let us rise! Let us be aware of our spiritual identity. The Lord needs us for this great mission. Together, darkness shall no longer reign…
