How Demons Operate
To enslave someone, demons bind them at the feet (both feet tied), hands (both hands tied), and face (covering the eyes) before oppressing them. Once bound, they direct you wherever they want, making you act according to their will.
You are no longer free. The first thing to do when in the presence of someone under oppression or demon influence is to unbind them before casting out the demon. If you cast out the demon but the person remains bound, you have accomplished nothing. The difficulties the person is facing or the obstacles in their life will persist as long as they are not unbound.
It can be said that 90% of Christians find themselves in this situation. The demons have left, and they sleep soundly, but their situation has not improved: their professional life is stagnant, their spiritual life remains mediocre, their marital life is catastrophic, their children’s education is not progressing, and financially, nothing is going well.
Often, ignorance on the part of parents is the root cause of these bonds. In trying to protect you or ensure your success in life, your parents, by entrusting you to fetishes, have actually bound you. Your name or first name might be a link that is causing all your suffering.
Your bonds may also be the result of intentional actions by people, just as Samson’s parents treated him (Judges 15: 9-14). Any alliance with fetishes or any invocation of them in your life constitutes bonds.
In Africa, these practices are widespread. One person can have multiple bonds. In your dreams, these bonds may appear in various ways: you find yourself in front of an insurmountable mountain or a staircase on which you don’t have enough energy to place your foot; it might be a simple word that you can’t write, trying multiple times with each attempt resulting in mistakes; you want to go somewhere but get lost on the route several times and never reach your destination. You always end up in the same place, either in your village, under a tree, or by a stream (indicating that your bonds are related to these places). What you cannot do in your dreams, you cannot do in reality. As long as these bonds are not broken, you will go nowhere because you are blocked.
You must examine yourself, see where the bonds are in your life, and proceed with your self-deliverance. Indeed, when you are oppressed, you must first try to unbind yourself by taking authority and saying:
“In the name of Jesus Christ, demon X or Y, I command you to leave my life, or set me free, or disappear from my thoughts, etc.”
If the bonds are hereditary, anoint your head with oil, place a hand on it, and say:
“If there is a bond on my name, I break it in the name of Jesus Christ“;
“If there is a bond on me through my blood, I break it in the name of Jesus Christ“;
“If there is a bond on my life through sex, I break it in the name of Jesus Christ.”
It is possible that the spirit oppressing or influencing you is so powerful that the anointing you have is not sufficient to cast it out. In this case, call on your prayer partner to help you. If the two of you still cannot cast it out, then seek an anointed, consecrated man of God and clearly explain the situation you are experiencing. He will take authority, and the spirit will depart. You can also participate in a deliverance prayer session.
Several biblical passages speak of satanic bonds:
“The word of the Lord came to me: ‘Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations! Say, Thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem: Your origin and your birth are of the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite. And as for your birth, on the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to cleanse you, nor rubbed with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling cloths. No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you out of compassion for you, but you were cast out on the open field, for you were abhorred on the day that you were born. And I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, and I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I said to you in your blood, ‘Live! I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became tall and arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare.’” Ezekiel 16:1-7
“Having said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, ‘Unbind him, and let him go.’” John 11:43-44
“And he said to me, ‘Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:12-13
