“Jesus answered, ‘Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields, with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.” Mark 10:29-30

Many people can spend hours on end binge-watching a TV series they’re passionate about. But when it comes to spending time with the Lord, ten minutes seem like an eternity to them. Passion for Christ means detaching oneself from any false passion, from anything excessively loved that is not Christ, and exclusively attaching oneself to Him.

If you love phones too much, strip yourself of that love! If you’re too focused on marriage, let go of that passion! If because of your parents, you don’t truly want to serve the Lord, leave them! If your thoughts are constantly oriented towards your work because you love work too much, then give up that job.

The Bible says there is no one who, having left all these things because of Christ and because of the kingdom of God, will not receive them a hundredfold. When Christ fills you, He will give you work multiplied by a hundred, He will give you marriage multiplied by a hundred.

“Multiplied by a hundred” doesn’t mean you will have a hundred marriages. It means that within your marriage, you will have a hundred times more happiness than the first happiness you sacrificed to seek the Holy Spirit. Jesus talks about having fathers a hundredfold, that doesn’t mean we will have a hundred dads! You only have one father. But everything a father is supposed to bring into your life, you will have multiplied by a hundred (Mark 10:27-30).

We are in a century where it is totally indispensable to be invested with the power of God. Whoever does not have this presence and power of God will fail because they will be necessary to trigger answered prayers. Now more than ever, you must beware, for what you need right now is to be attached to Christ and to love Him. That’s why the dimension of the Bride is not acquired through the practice of good deeds but rather through the right disposition of the heart. Is your heart oriented towards the Lord?

If Christ is your passion, you will have the ultimate glory of God added to all the other things you aspire to. This passion for Christ will create in you all the necessary space to welcome the Holy Spirit that God will send you. Now that you know how to identify and channel your thirst, I will present to you the next key that will allow you to enter into the dimension of the Bride.
