The altar plays the role of spiritual transactions, as highlighted above. Family altars (darkness) aim to steal, destroy, and kill (John 10:10) the link, the family, and its descendants.

They oppose the life of every individual, dominating them to the point of eventual death when one turns away or becomes a child of God. Such a person becomes an enemy of the higher spirit associated with the altar. However, as long as one loves the power linked to the altar by continuing to sacrifice offerings, their life remains peaceful for a certain period or a certain number of years.

Sacrificing to powers linked to the altar is an idolatrous practice. Acting in this way is considered evil in the eyes of the Lord. In some way, God delivers altar worshippers into the hands of their enemies for years. This means that when an individual turns to these associated powers, they reject God and remove themselves from divine protection.

In Israel, during the time of Gideon, families turned to idolatry for various reasons, erecting altars. However, in every nation, there is a main altar coordinating all others and forming the foundation. This particular altar was in Gideon’s family, erected by his father. The elevation of a person depends on the destruction of the main altar working against their life. This is why God commanded Gideon in Judges 6:25-26 to overturn his father’s Baal altar. The presence of demonic altars in families and countries has significant consequences.

Behind every altar hide forces of witchcraft, satanic, demonic, and human origins. Their purpose is to stir up enemies in the lives of those linked to them. Many people wonder why, when they reflect on their lives, they’ve encountered only evildoers, malevolent individuals seeking to destroy them and harm their children.

They find that even the individuals they associated with are agents of Satan, working to continue the work of witchcraft powers in their lives: oppositions, bad advice, obstacles, servitude, domination, afflictions through disease or infertility, difficulties, and lack of stability in professional, marital, financial, and spiritual aspects.

Now, we understand why some children of God say :

“I don’t understand why, in the marital aspect of my life, I only encounter agents of darkness.”

“Why, despite all the good I’ve done, do people repay me with evil, injustice?”

“Why have I lost everything I acquired in my life, and today, I have nothing left?”

“Why do I have no peace in my life, or why is my life restless: permanent health problems, financial issues, and regular debts?”

A person under the influence of the family altar normally loses discernment and can’t show discretion anymore.

Such a person will live in fear, have nightmares, and face all kinds of afflictions.

Once erected, the altar begins a sort of autonomous life and can destroy, spanning time and space, for decades or even millennia. It must be stopped by breaking it so that it does not continue its destructive work. A member of the lineage or family must overturn it in the name of Jesus Christ and rebuke it. In practice, this involves deprogramming the effect on people’s lives through words. You must ask the Holy Spirit for the anointing to do so, once the altar has been identified and its cause discovered.

If it’s a new believer, the breaking must occur under the authority of someone with a higher anointing, as a real prophetic action during which the words of faith will be spoken, and hereditary alliances rejected by the declaration.

Repent of things in your life that give evil altars a platform to act.

Withdraw your advantages and virtues from altars; curse family altars. You can invoke the fire of God or the divine hurricane of the Holy Spirit to demolish them.

Any prayer against evil altars must be done aggressively and with violent faith. Dishonor evil altars by giving praise and worship to God (the creator of heaven and earth).

Break the curses:

  • Receive the peace of God (Phil 4:6).
  • Learn to walk in love, practice acts of love (Eph 5:2).
  • Read the word of God.
  • Declare the word of God.
  • Believe that God saves you by His grace (Eph 2:8).
  • Dedicate your entire life to Christ (Mt 10:32; 1 Peter 2:9).
  • Put on the whole armor of God (Eph 6:10-18).
