IGNORANCE AND THE PROPHETIC.
In spirituality, there are no self-taught individuals: you are either a seller of illusions or an initiate. The biblical experiences of men and women who worked with God clearly demonstrate how God has always prepared (initiated) those He desires to use because the spiritual world operates with initiates, not the ignorant.
This initiation always occurs in two ways: through angels (invisible beings) or through experienced men (visible beings). When the Bible says, “Enoch walked with God,” it means he was the only initiate of the dispensation of unconsciousness, for the name “Enoch” means “dedicated, initiated, consecrated.” No one can walk with an invisible being without being dedicated, initiated, or consecrated to Him. By reading the Book of Enoch, we discover that he was initiated by angels who appeared to him in visions (Genesis 5:22-24).
Similarly, in the first global civilization of Cain’s descendants, we find the first breeder, the first musician, the first warrior and blacksmith of war weapons, as well as the first polygamist. This civilization was the result of Cain’s initiation by invisible beings, as it is written:
“Cain knew his wife; she conceived and gave birth to Enoch. He then built a city and named it after his son, Enoch.“
We find the name Enoch again, which is not a coincidence, because at that time, newborns were given names based on the circumstances of their birth (Genesis 4:17-24). It is also written about young Samuel:
“Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.”
Verse 1 states that he was in service to the Lord. The word “know” here does not mean philosophical knowledge but rather a spiritual experience; for it is possible to serve God for many years without being initiated into His spirituality. The prophetic spirit opens the prophet’s sensitivities to put him at God’s service, but ignorance will always lead and limit him to the dogmas of religion (1 Samuel 3:1-12).
That is why Samuel, in all humility, helped young prophets by training them in an instruction school, biblically called “sons of the prophets,” because no one can experience the higher dimension of the prophetic without being mentored by an angel or by another prophet more experienced than himself (1 Samuel 10:5)…
