As today’s biblical reading tells us, Christ will come with believers who are alive to meet the Lord Jesus Christ and spend eternity with Him. Many people, however, think that the Rapture is not real because they have heard about it for so long and it has not happened yet. Whatever someone thinks about the reality of the Rapture, it doesn’t matter. It is in your interest to study and believe only what the word of God says. The Bible says that this day will come like a thief in the night, and you must be prepared if you do not want to be left behind (1 Thessalonians 5:1-8).

A key characteristic of major Bible prophecies is that they sound unbelievable when spoken. When Isaiah prophesied that a virgin would conceive in Isaiah 7:14, it seemed very unreasonable. At that time, most people had to wait and see if a virgin would really give birth. It was only centuries later that Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ. Whether people believed Isaiah’s prophecy or not, the word of God came true. In the Bible, there are many prophecies that seemed impossible but came to pass. If the Bible is so accurate, it is wise to believe it when it speaks about the Rapture.

When Noah announced to everyone that a flood would destroy the entire earth, they mocked him. He began building the ark, and they laughed even more. Years passed, and no flood came. Just before he entered the ark with his family, people were still drinking and rejoicing as usual, but a few days later, they were all drowned. Today, many people live recklessly, ignoring the reality of the Rapture.

However, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:52 that the Rapture will happen suddenly. Only those who are prepared will be saved, while others will be left on earth to suffer.

One thing I am sure of is that on the day the Rapture happens, many people will be taken by surprise. There will be a lot of regret from those who heard about the Rapture but lived their lives without bothering to prepare by giving their lives to Jesus Christ and living a holy life. Unfortunately for them, it will be too late because the Rapture will happen only once.

Beloved, are you ready for the Rapture?
