It’s Time to Act (2).
“The lazy person says: There is a lion on the road, there is a lion in the streets!” Proverbs 26:13
The rate of timely change is directly proportional to the force applied to it.
“After these things, God tested Abraham and said to him: Abraham! And he answered: Here I am! God said: Take your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” Genesis 22:1-2
In the previous text, we emphasized the need to act promptly and implement the great ideas that heaven gives us. An idea that is not implemented is, in a sense, non-existent and cannot bring any value to humanity. We will continue the discourse in this one.
Why do people not act and let the great brainwaves and ideas that God has given them die without execution? The first reason is laziness. A lazy person prefers to give a thousand excuses or simply talk about their brilliant idea rather than work on its implementation. They see more reasons why it might not work than reasons why it would. The second reason is the spirit of inertia. It’s a mindset that keeps a person stuck in one place, making them inactive and unproductive.
In the end, the person becomes someone who never acts well. The third reason is that people do not act when they should because of their inability to discern what God is saying or doing. Their lack of spiritual sensitivity and vigilance, along with their spiritual blindness, causes them to miss the message and the timely moment from heaven.
Furthermore, procrastination is a major cause of inaction for many people. They know what needs to be done, but they keep putting it off and ultimately won’t do it. Finally, people who are attacked by the spirit of failure, non-achievement, and poverty often do not act on anything that would make them productive and prosperous. The mentioned factors are enemies of success and achievement. They lock glorious destinies in the bins of poverty and sorrow.
Abraham acted promptly according to God’s instructions to offer Isaac. David did not hesitate to challenge and confront Goliath. Nehemiah was quick to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem; the apostles were proactive in preaching the Gospel and shaking the world. Paul was quick to obey the heavenly vision. They were all greatly blessed. This year, when you attend training, read books, and have an idea, note it with the actions to take and a timeline. Speak less and fantasize less.
Act on the ideas, goals, and plans that God has given you. Finally, make sure to act and overcome the forces of inertia, procrastination, and failure. You will succeed, in the name of Jesus.
Receive the anointing for revolutionary ideas and turn them into world-changing projects, in the name of Jesus.
