“Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” — Proverbs 2:5

True fear of God and the knowledge of the Lord do not happen by chance. They don’t just “fall” on us without us having desperately sought them. It’s already been five weeks since the year began and since you started reading this book, and today, you must experience something new. I don’t know where you stand with God, but the Bible tells us to keep moving forward.

There must be a burning desire in your heart to know the Lord. I urge you to rekindle today your love and your fire for the Lord. You are reading these lines, maybe doing so mechanically, maybe you’re in a hurry — but please, find within yourself a longing to truly know the fear of God and God Himself, today.

Receive and keep God’s Word in your heart, be attentive to wisdom, seek divine understanding with all your heart! Seek God, seek the true fear of God! Pray with all your heart, asking the Father — no matter your “spiritual level” or your relationship with Him — for a new revelation of His Person, a new revelation of the fear of His Name.

We speak of the fear of God, but what is it really? How can we live it? What does it produce? I believe God has secrets for you that you won’t discover in this book, but that He will reveal to you personally, if only you deeply long for them.

May a personal and heartfelt prayer rise up from within you today! Pray!
