LIVING FREE FROM CONDEMNATION
When my husband found a job again, I felt so much better. But he had only signed a one-year contract, renewable once. The two years passed, and the end of his contract was approaching. Renewing it was no longer possible—it would have been illegal. The only way to keep him on was to offer him a permanent contract. I was so afraid of going through everything we had gone through before all over again.
My husband inquired with his employer. They told him that the contract he had signed could not lead to a permanent position, as he had been hired under a special scheme due to his long-term unemployment, and the contract could not be extended beyond that.
I made the decision to pray that his employer would find a solution. I wasn’t praying the same way I had the first time, years earlier. This time, I knew there was no more condemnation, and I began to declare all of God’s promises over our lives.
My faith was growing stronger. Days went by, and his contract was coming to an end. But I knew God was going to do something.
One night, I had a dream. I found myself in a dark room—no light at all, not even a glimmer. I saw two demons rushing toward me at full speed. One of them grabbed me by the throat and lifted me off the ground—my feet were no longer touching the floor. He slammed me against a wall. The two demons were shouting at me: “Stop praying! Stop praying! Stop praying!” I couldn’t breathe. But I managed to say the name “Jesus.” Instantly, a light appeared. Jesus was there. Immediately, the two demons released me and fled, screaming in terror.
As for me, I found myself on the ground, on my knees, gasping for air. Jesus came closer, lifted my chin with His hand, looked me in the eyes, and said: “Whatever you do, DO NOT stop praying.”
I woke up immediately, and at that moment, I knew the battle was won. My husband kept going to work during the final days of his contract. One day, one of the hiring managers was called in by the big boss. He told her:
“Last night, I was sleeping peacefully. But I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t fall back asleep. That’s when I thought about Samuel. We need to do something for him. Let’s find a way to change his contract and make it permanent.”
They looked into it and adjusted the contract to make it legal, allowing it to be converted into a permanent contract. To this day, he has been working there for seven years…
