Marriage is for men, not boys. Be a man!

“Be strong and show yourself a man!” 1 Kings 2:2b.

Marriage is for men, not boys. Be a man in your decisions, determination, and reactions, etc. Be mature, take responsibility, and stick to your decisions. Stop being swayed like a chicken’s heart. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no (Matthew 5:37).

“He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22

This passage literally means that before a woman is found or married, she must possess the qualities of a woman. The difference between men and boys is just maturity. It’s not age that guarantees marriage, but maturity. Someone can be 40 years old and still not be mature.

Maturity is the ability to make a decision and stick to it. A mature person considers many things before making a decision about marriage. Decision-making is directly influenced by a person’s level of maturity, mental development, and emotions.

A woman must be biologically mature before marriage to avoid unnecessary complications during childbirth. Wisdom also tells us that a woman’s physical endurance is essential to handle the rigors of marriage, especially in Africa and developed countries…
