Seest thou a man diligent his business? He shall stand before kings: he shall not stand before mean men.” Proverbs 22:29

Every pregnancy must be nurtured, protected consciously before the birthing. There are many things I feel that will help nurture the pregnancy whether physical or spiritual:

LOVE: Love will always lead to sacrifice. The love which the mother or the visionary has for the baby (vision) in the womb will make her go through the pains, excessive kickings, and moving of the baby in the womb, vomiting and sleepless nights. For GOD so loved the world and He gave birth to JESUS. For whatever you love you will surely sacrifice for it.

DETERMINATION AND DISCIPLINE: Determination is a force and it leads to discipline. A determined person will be ready to die because of what he believes in. A determined man is a disciplined man. And to be disciplined is to deny yourself what you like most. Look at what Paul the Apostle had to say:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I preached to others, I myself should be a cast away” 1 Corinthians 9:27

Paul knows how to subject his body to a rigorous training and discipline so that he will be able to accomplish the goal. Because of the vision, the visionary or the pregnant woman does not eat what she wants, but the baby (vision) now determines what the mother eats and even when.

PERSEVERANCE: It is to resist the temptation of giving up because of the pain you are going through and keep keeping on. Moving and going forward in spite of what you feel, think, see or hear. In the process of carrying the vision, the temptation to back-out will surely come but you have to persevere because the vision lives on (Luke 9:62). Remember winners don’t quit. Your perseverance will always weary your resistance because if you faint not you will reap your fruit!

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” Matthew 11:12

FAITH AND HOPE: Faith is an understanding of what GOD is about to do and believe that He is capable of doing it. So, the visionary must have faith that the vision must come to pass and that is the hope that he or she will hang on to, and keep waiting for the day of delivery. Hope is the expectation of the expected end with an out-stretched-neck until the manifestation of what you hope for. Pregnancy (vision) must be nurtured for it to be birthed. There is a price, and also there is a sacrifice that one needs to pay for the vision to come to pass.

FOCUS AND TIME: Every vision or pregnancy must be sustained by the conscious focus of the carrier of the vision. The vision attracts the focus and is the motivating drive. There is something you look forward to seeing and that calls for constant attention and care. Focusing permits the carrier to examine the vision or pregnancy to know when it is due for delivery. Without focus the vision might be lost.

Therefore, constant focusing on the pregnancy is important. And that requires your time. Time here becomes an object of importance. The vision will take most of your time and the purpose of spending quality time on the vision is to make sure that everything is in order. Whatever you love you will give your time for it. And the time you spend on the actualization of the vision is your sacrifice. There is no vision that does not require a quality time for its accomplishment.

Therefore, to well nurture your vision, you have to spare your time for it…
