Biblical Text: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” Psalms 33:12

It is known: A nation can choose to serve the god of their choice and this will directly influence the destiny of its people. Choosing the Lord as the God of our Nation will offer all individuals sharing our nationality the enjoyment of God’s happiness, also known as God’s blessing. Three types of people can make the choice of God for the country, namely:

The president of the Nation or authorities established by God, the people, and the priests of the nation. Whatever we are, we are part of one of these groups of people. And this gives us the right to raise our voices and pray for our beautiful and beloved country so that only God who sent us his son Jesus Christ may be the God of our nation.

Prayer Topics:

56. Let us pray to thank God for giving us the Nation as our heritage.
57. Let us thank God for all visible and invisible things He has done for our Nation.
58. Let us ask God to be the God of our country and that no other god may rule in the name of Jesus Christ.
59. Let us ask God to be the God of our country and to reign over the land and the subsoil of our Nation in the name of Jesus Christ.
60. Let us ask God to be the God of our country and to rule over all our established authorities in the name of Jesus Christ.
61. Let us ask God to be the God of our nation and to rule over our people in the country and in the diaspora in the name of Jesus.
62. Let us ask God that only His will be done for our country in all sectors in the name of Jesus Christ.

Proclamations:

63. We proclaim that God who sent the Savior Jesus Christ is the only God of our nation in the name of Jesus Christ.
64. We refuse our Nation to belong to deities in the name of Jesus Christ.
65. May no malevolent force subject our Nation to its domination in the name of Jesus Christ.
66. May the hand of God be upon our country in the name of Jesus Christ.
67. May God’s plans for our country be fulfilled every day, every month, and every year in the name of Jesus Christ.
68. In the name of Jesus Christ, we surrender our Nation under God’s guidance day and night.
69. In the name of Jesus Christ, we declare that it is the Lord who is our God.
70. In the name of Jesus Christ, it is the Lord who is worthy to receive the praise and worship of the people of our nation.
71. Because our God is omnipresent, we declare that not a single part of our territory escapes the control of our God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
72. Because our God is omniscient, we declare that no reality related to our country escapes His knowledge, in the name of Jesus Christ.
73. Because our God is omnipotent, we declare that no force or problem can resist His power deployed in favor of our country, in the name of Jesus Christ.
