Lord, I pray that you bless the work that my husband does with his hands. May his labor not only bring him favor, success, and prosperity, but also great satisfaction. If his work is not what you desire in your perfect will for his life, reveal it to him. Show him what he should do differently and guide him on the right path. Grant him strength, faith, and a vision for the future so that he rises above any tendency towards laziness. May he never shirk his work out of fear, selfishness, or a desire to avoid his responsibilities.

On the other hand, help him see that he does not need to overwork himself solely to gain approval from others, nor seize a gain beyond what you intend to give him. Give him the ability to enjoy his success without always wanting more. Help him excel, but release him from excessive pressure.

I pray that you reign over his work, and that he makes room for you in all areas of his endeavors. Give him enough confidence in the gifts you have entrusted him with so that he can seek, find, and achieve what is good in his work. Open doors and opportunities for him that no one can shut. Develop his talents so that they become increasingly fruitful over the years. Show me what I can do to encourage him.

I pray that his work is established, stable, fruitful, satisfying, and financially rewarded. May he be zealous, not lazy; fervent in spirit, serving the Lord (Romans 12:11). May he be like a tree planted by streams of living water, bearing fruit in its season. May he never wither under pressure, but grow and prosper (Psalm 1:3).

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” Matthew 16:26

Through sloth the roof sinks in, and through indolence the house leaks.” Ecclesiastes 10:18

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17
