“But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” Jude 1:20

The one who speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself, but the one who prophesies edifies the Church. Your faith is built and strengthened through prayer. Often, the reason your faith cannot handle your problems is due to a lack of prayer. There is a faith within your spirit that needs the energy of prayer, the power that comes from prayer, to strengthen or propel desired outcomes.

“However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:21

Satan can ruin your life if your faith is insufficient. Many times, you have tried to engage your faith, but it was dead, inoperative, and inactive. Faith is like the battery in your phone. Prayer is like charging your battery in the spirit. The faith in your spirit needs to be regularly recharged to full capacity.

If your faith is dead, it’s because you haven’t charged it. Prayer, especially spiritual prayer, is what recharges your faith.

“For by the grace given to me, I say to every one of you: do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.” Romans 12:3

There is, therefore, a power within your spirit, the power of faith. But this faith comes alive through prayer. If the battery of your faith is at ten percent, how can you expect a ten thousand volt problem to be resolved by a ten percent charge?

Some problems you face require ten thousand volts of faith release to be dealt with, but your battery, your level of faith, is actually at ten, fifteen, or even less than five percent because you haven’t charged your faith. God has said, “Go home and pray intentionally.”

Simply know that every time you pray, you build and develop your faith capacity. You are building yourself up, increasing in the spirit so that when faced with a force of darkness, you can easily cast it out of your way because your faith is active and strong. Nothing can successfully stand against you when you are a man or woman with a consistent prayer life…
