Lord, I entrust all our money to you. Be its master and use it for your purposes. May we both be good stewards of all that you entrust to us, and walk in full agreement on how to spend it. I pray that we learn to live free from any burdensome debt. Where we have lacked wisdom, bring restoration and grant us your counsel. Show me how I can improve our financial condition instead of spending recklessly. Help us to remember that everything we have belongs to you, and to be grateful for it.

I pray that (husband’s name) finds it easy to give to your work and to others as you teach us in your Word. Give him wisdom to manage our money well. Help him make good decisions in handling our finances.

Show him how to plan for the future. I pray that he finds a perfect balance so that we neither spend recklessly nor live in want. May he always be well paid for the work he does, and may this money not be stolen, lost, devoured, destroyed, or wasted. Multiply it so that what he earns may last. I pray that he is not anxious about our finances, but that he seeks first your kingdom, knowing that in doing so, we will have all that we need (Luke 12:31).
