In talking about pregnancy killers in this Chapter, all I want to bring out here is just to identify those things that can hinder or paralyze the fulfillment and giving birth to the dream, vision, invention, or your God-given mandate and purpose.  Dreams, spiritual pregnancy, and visions are God’s original intentions for every Child of God that must be accomplished at a given time because there is always a time tag to every mandate or assignment. Moreover, there are divine directions of God to life destiny that will help one not to waste time and efforts on earth because God does not want us to be engaged in wasteful projects. 

“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel: Iam the LORD thy GOD which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go”. Isaiah 48:17 

We are here on earth to make profit for the kingdom of God. God does not want you to engage in a wasteful venture that is why He teacheth us to make profit. If you are not making profit in life that signifies that you have not keyed into your divine purpose in life because it is purpose that gives life a sense of destiny. Life must have a purpose and it is this sense of purpose that will surely lead to the real destiny. 

Therefore, we should not allow the dream, vision, and pregnancy killers to destroy or abort our destiny. One has to take a quality decision and provoke something to happen for good and heaven will be glorified. Let us take a close look at these pregnancy killers: 

1. DOUBT   

“And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief “ Hebrews 3: 18 -19 

Whatever we want to accomplish for God and His Kingdom must be via the vehicle of faith for without faith no one can please God (Hebrews 11:6).   Doubt is a traitor that puts limits to the level God wants to elevate you. It is the opposite of faith and can “short–circuit” the blessings and the manifestations of the power of the Almighty God in your life. 

God will only honour anything that is done and accomplished in faith. God does not just work for you but He works according to your faith. Therefore, anyone that will live to see the fulfillment of his dreams must be a believing believer and not a doubter. To believe is to be in the same wave–length or frequency with God. 

That is coming up higher to sit in the same platform in the heavenly places where His invisible Hand will be released for the accomplishment because just one move of the Hand of God can provoke an unprecedented and overflowing blessing that will make you to break fallow grounds. Coming up includes your level of reasoning, understanding and reacting positively towards what you hear about the word of God (Revelation 4:1). 

2. FEAR 

“For God hath not given us the Spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of sound mind” 2 Timothy 1: 7 

Fear is a spirit that the enemy projects in your journey to the spiritual maternity ward to stop you from pressing forward to give birth. Fear brings rejection of oneself. Fear can paralyze a giant down to a grasshopper. And fear starts from your thought pattern (Proverbs 23:7), and goes down to what you see, what you feel and what you hear. 

Fear will make you think less of who you are. And it is a robber, it can rob you off the vision that God has placed in you. It has the capacity to take the seed of greatness that God placed in you. Fear will completely paralyze your faith until the power of God cannot work through your life again. There are many kinds of fear that can hold people bound in life:  Fear of future, fear of failure, fear of success (because of the price involved), fear of family, fear of the society, fear of self, fear of man, fear of Satan and demons, fear of parents, fear of friends, etc. 

The list can be endless if we continue. Many people are afraid to succeed or fail because of the price of criticism. Let me tell you, whether you fail or succeed people must talk. But don’t be the one that will stop what God wants to do. The more people talk about you for good or bad, it is a free publicity for your greatness. Fear is a product of guilt. And there are three kinds of guilt: 

1. What you did. 

2. What you did not do that you should have done. 

3. The guilt that the devil puts on you because of what someone else did to you. 

And that is what I call invisible cancer. Why fear?  Go up to the mountain, the valley is so crowded and many cowards are there. 

3. FATIGUE 

Fatigue is one allowing the events, circumstances or happenings to determine the next move. When someone comes to a place where he will begin to say I am tired, very soon he will lose his vision and all the zeal, agility and spiritual fervency will die. All over the town you can see the evidence of fatigue in the physical manifestation in many unfinished buildings. 

Some started with the intention to finish their two-storey at a given time and somewhere along the line they just managed to stop at the first–storey and for many years they have not been able to continue. What they are saying or announcing to the world is “I am tired, I can’t continue”. That is really fatigue! It is better at this point to take a spiritual retreat to renew your strength (Read Isaiah 40:31). 

4. PROCRASTINATION 

Everything big started with something little and those who complain about the way the ball bounces are often the ones who dropped it. What many people need is an alarm clock that will ring when it is time for them to rise to the occasion…
