If you are a believer, you must know that the wisdom of God is above the wisdom of this world. Do not become proud because of your academic qualifications. How can we explain that many children of God abandon Him as soon as they become students?

At the university, the zeal of many people has grown cold. Many begin to reason like scholars and say that God does not exist. As I am writing these lines, coincidentally, I just received a white man, originally from France, who told me he does not believe in the existence of God. All of this is related to the depravity and deviation of human intelligence.

1 Corinthians 1:20 tells us: “Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?”

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written: ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness.’” 1 Corinthians 3:19

Before becoming a doctor, he sang in the choir, but now that he has become a physician, science has taken over. He now begins to see the things of God as trivial. He now shows that he is more intelligent, even more so than God. He begins to place medicine above the Word of God.

Today, why do many Christians respect a medical doctor more than a pastor? They are more conscious of medicine than of the Word of God. How can we explain that it is complicated to evangelize great intellectuals? Intelligence is a faculty given by God, and we cannot forget God because of it.

Have you noticed that there are few intellectuals in our churches? How many doctors are Christians? How many engineers are Christians? Most of these intellectuals are Christians in name only. The wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. Their degrees have taken the place of God in their hearts; it is idolatry.
