This book is not the Bible. The Bible and only the Bible is the Holy Word of God. No other book can replace the Bible or be compared to it. The Shepherd’s Staff that you are reading now is not intended to replace the Bible, and should not be used in place of the Bible in your life and ministry.

This copy of the Shepherd’s Staff is a valuable ministry training manual. When you use it and study it with your Bible, it will help you study and understand the eternal and unchanging truths found only in the Bible. It will challenge you to live only by these truths and prepare you to teach them to others. It can help you grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ and become an effective minister of the Gospel.

According to the book of Acts 17:11, you must be like Bereans, and examine the scriptures daily to be sure that what you learn from the Shepherd’s Rod agrees with the Word of God.
