Septuaginta. Editio altera.

The definitive reference edition of the Septuagint. Revised by one of the world’s leading scholars of the Septuagint: Prof. Dr. Dr. Robert Hanhart.

Since its first publication in 1935, Alfred Rahlfs’ Septuagint edition has formed an important basis for Septuagint research worldwide. To ensure that this continues to be the case in the future, Robert Hanhart, internationally renowned Septuagint scholar, has reissued the German Bible Society Reference Edition of Rahlfs’ Septuagint.

The Greek biblical text and the critical apparatus have been corrected and completed in more than a thousand places. This edition is now considered the new definitive reference edition of the Septuagint.

The preface contains the explanation of the symbols in English, German, Latin and Greek.

IMPORTANT: The critical apparatus and the introduction are in German, Latin and English. This book is in Greek. Not in French.
