The Holy Spirit does not occupy His true place in the lives of thousands of people and the Church, which is why the level of His manifestation in our lives and ministries is still limited. On the day of Pentecost, there was a “collusion” between heaven and earth. This supernatural phenomenon gave birth to the Church of Jesus Christ and the reign of the Supernatural. This was a divine exchange that resulted in a “sacred marriage” between the Church and the Holy Spirit. Just as in a natural marriage, it is daily communion that maintains it, but if communion and communication break down, there will be much misunderstanding and confusion. Confusion can lead to division and where there is division, there are automatically two visions. Three things happened in the Sacred Marriage of the Church and the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost:
The disciples’ minds were connected to the Holy Spirit to receive divine instruction and tools.
They were given courage and boldness to preach the gospel.
The Name of Jesus was exalted because, through His Name, miracles were performed.
We need to fellowship, spend quality time, and talk daily with the Holy Spirit in order to experience extraordinary progress in our walk for the Kingdom of God. To do this, we must understand the Person of the Holy Spirit: what He loves, what He hates because two people cannot walk together unless they are agreed (Amos 3:3). The Holy Spirit is actually a person and not a thing, He knows all things, He feels things, He has a personal will 6 and He can be grieved or quenched (Ephesians 4:30, 1 Thessalonians 5:19). And once He is grieved or quenched that is the end of fellowship and His manifestation. Just as every ordinary human being needs fellowship, so does the Holy Spirit desire it. And if you do not give Him a place, He will not take it.
If you do not give Him a right of way, and permission and opportunity to move, He will not. Instead, He will let you remain in your pride. The purpose of this book is to bring us back to the path of fellowship with the Holy Spirit, for that is how we can experience His presence and manifestation for the fulfillment of our prophetic destiny in life and ministry. The communion and direction of the Holy Spirit are the keys to lasting success in life and ministry.
