The Hebrew years 5770-5779 set the stage for powerful seers and believers to see everywhere. Indeed, as the Body of Christ entered the Hebrew year 5780, we completed a significant period of vision restoration. If you weren’t paying attention, you probably missed it.

Consider this: the number seven in Hebrew is correlated with sight or vision. In 5770, God began to raise a new generation of seers to carry the torch and illuminate the path for the Body of Christ to enter seer dimensions that some were unsure existed.

Just as God restored and emphasized the nabi prophets with an amazing ability to hear starting in the 1980s, seer prophets will be at the center of Spirit-filled churches in the new prophetic era. Seer prophets and hearing prophets will partner to delve deeper into revelatory dimensions than either could alone. This is part of the “times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:21).

Examining revelations about how God moved from 5700 to 5779 provides insight into the decade where the restoration of seers was Jehovah’s objective. This is because the decade of the 70s initiated a season of Ayin. Ayin is the sixteenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and means “eye” or “to see.” Ayin also represents divine light and, by extension, divine sight.

It doesn’t take a prophet to discern that God emphasized spiritual sight during this pivotal decade. 5770 set the stage for the following 10 years. Let’s review the past 10 years as Chuck Pierce and his team prophetically identified them so we can better discern the times we are coming out of and the times we are entering.

5770: A Year of Re-digging the Wells.

With a view to re-digging the wells of seer anointing, the number 70 is significant as it relates to an outpouring of a prophetic spirit. Although seers have existed since Biblical times and persist through modern times, it was as if the Holy Spirit took a shovel and started digging seer wells again, inviting us to partner with Him. We began to see a new generation of seers emerging, and 5770 was just the beginning.

5771: A Season of New Authority.

Regarding 5771, Chuck Pierce stated, “We are entering a season of unleashed power.” Only by understanding, walking, and properly aligning with the king can this power be channeled to overcome and transform society. The real question becomes: will I run with the wild herd or let the king’s discipline bring me to a new level of strategic power?

God began to restore more authority to seers in 5771, and the first powerful seers of a new generation were marked, although many had yet to be revealed. God also began teaching the lesson of submitting our eyes to Him so we could walk with seer power. This is still ongoing. It’s a lesson that a new generation of seers will need to learn to walk in the authority and power God wants to pour out on them.

5772: Discovering and Unlocking.

Chuck Pierce decreed at the head of 5772 that the body of Christ was about to enter a new season of unlocking and discovery. During this year, the Lord began to open dreams and visions to more believers and uncover mysteries through visual revelation. Seeing in the spirit is one of the spiritual blessings Paul writes about in Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Seeing is part of your spiritual heritage.

5773: From Restoration to Wholeness.

Chuck Pierce proclaimed that in the year 5773, “the camels are coming.” He also proclaimed it was a year to bridge the past and the future and move from restoration to wholeness. “Gimel is the third letter of the Hebrew alphabet as well as the number three, and originally represented a camel. It is a year to watch for the camels to come! It is time to keep your feet moving and go beyond what you have been in the past, until you drink and eat from the produce of your promise! The Kingdom of God will become the greatest influence in the earthly realm.”

Part of the agenda in 5773, according to Pierce, was to see the camels come to bring the rewards and repayments for our pains, find our way out of the past, cross the bridge from the past into the glory of the future, neutralize the enemy’s power, reclaim lost strength, nourish ourselves to fullness, see the priesthood for the hour flourish and grow, and mature into a new man.

5773 was a year when future powerful seers were set apart and nourished. It was a year when God began to cleanse the eyes so we could see. This was part of a reform and some vows too Nazarite-like, like John the Baptist who wore camel’s hair clothing.

5774: Seeing the Open Door.

As we moved forward in this decade, Pierce decreed that 5774 was a year to see the open door to your new sources. He wrote:

“This is a year to establish yourself in your inheritance, or ‘portion,’ granted to you by the Lord. There is a new well waiting for you in your land. Dalet is also linked to a door and is related to the symbol of the fish. From the movement of the fish, you can see your door open to the future. This will be a year when the Body of Christ will take a turn towards a new evangelistic movement. Step through your doors of opportunity and enter and occupy the land God has given you! This will be a season where we will see the water waiting for us, but to do so, we must first go through our door of opportunity.”

Note the emphasis on sight and doors. Pierce also decreed it was a year to establish yourself in your inheritance. Again, spiritual sight is part of your heritage in Christ. Jesus is the door to seeing into the seer dimensions.

5775: A Season of Vision and Observation

As we advance in the decade, there is increasing emphasis on sight. This is no coincidence but rather evidence of the restoration of eyes in the Body. Pierce wrote:

“In this season of ‘seeing and observing,’ the power of knowing who you are will become very important! How you express your faith in the midst of the massive conflicting exchange between heaven and earth will become a major issue in advancing the Kingdom of God. We are finishing a season of our path that leads us through a new door. In the Hebrew year 5775, the sound of heaven permeates your new land. The coming year is shaping up to be a whirlwind. The whirlwind will release seeds to be sown for your future. Doors will be blown open from the storehouses where the seeds of our future have been locked away.”

During this year and beyond, many were awakened to their calling as seers. Watchmen also began to rise at the sound of a rumbling in the spirit to call forth a prophetic army…
