Education is defined in two parts:

The first part concerns the learning and development of intellectual, moral, and physical faculties. The second part concerns the means and results of this development activity.

In a way, education is therefore the method but also the result obtained from the processing of the individual’s thought system.

Education does not come by chance; it draws its form from a source, from a well-defined influence that therefore determines the form of education. This alone already shows the importance of conquering this mountain, because whoever influences education is master of the human thought system.

Actions, habits, manner of speaking, and so many other things are the result of our education. Our thought system is shaped according to the education we receive.

At the birth of the Church, it had a monopoly on education and thus structured states according to the Christian model of thought. Even today, many nations, despite trying to secularize themselves, still retain signs of the Church’s influence on their way of thinking. Its influence was so great that it was preserved through various constitutions modeled on the system of Christian biblical laws.

Unfortunately, over time, the decadence of civilization has led peoples to gradually free themselves from the influence of Christian education and embrace the freedom offered by the ruler of this world.

Why must we conquer this mountain?

Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God?” Romans 12:2

Why stop at individual transformation when you can pursue collective and community transformation? But, whatever our dedication, we are victims of the effects of contemporary education. Our journey will only be more difficult if we are content to be the only enlightened ones in our generation. It is therefore important to change and influence the educational system.

I also believe that the Great Commission, that of making disciples, requires a profound work of changing thinking and thus instilling a different system of education than that received by the world.

It is impossible to speak of this mountain without mentioning children. Childhood is a very decisive stage of life for the rest of our lives. Understand the enemy’s relentlessness against children. Through access to social media, the struggle over sexual identity, sex education, all these things that are bombarded into the minds of children.

The goal is quite clear: by trivializing the practices of this world among the youngest, it is the guaranteed normalization of sin in the future. Defeated children are the world of the future destroyed.

In one of my moments of prayer, the Spirit of the Lord showed me how the next step in the enemy’s agenda is to normalize pedophilia. Just as he succeeded in normalizing the issue of sexual identity, he will do the same with the issue of pedophilia.
Destroying children’s consciences is his goal.

The Church is called to awaken and reclaim this mountain that has long been under its control. Restructure the current educational approach to ensure the full expression of Christ’s nature.

I long for Christian educators who will make Christian values shine. For that is what it is all about: producing men capable of thinking of Christ in everything they do. This world needs this deliverance from its way of thinking; this mountain is also tied to spiritual warfare.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds. We are demolishing arguments and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

In a world where many thoughts contrary to the doctrine of Christ are becoming commonplace, it is important that there be a counterattack from the Church.

The battle on the mountain of education will be waged by adults, spiritually minded. It is the mountain of doctors, of teachers.

At the summit of this mountain must rest the sign of Calvary: Christ crucified on Mount Golgotha, the place of the skull. The place where thoughts are formed. This wood planted on the site of the skull, the skull to represent the head, seat of thoughts, this wood of victory and rebirth. Was it an omen for the day when the Church would rise to regain dominion over the world’s system of thought and thus revive the victory of Christ?

I believe in these things.

I can only end this chapter by quoting the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah, which I believe relates to the mountains of influence and the Church.

It shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it.” Many peoples shall go and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways, and we may walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.‘” Isaiah 2:2-3
