According to Western thought, four (04) elements govern human life on earth: earth, water, air, and fire. However, from an Eastern perspective, wood is considered a fifth element. At the beginning, considering the original sin, the Creator cursed not man but the earth and used one of the four elements—water—to destroy everything that existed on the face of the earth. In fact, this element alone seems to have been spared or suffered the least damage.

Given this truth about the cursed earth and its destruction by water, destructive agents leverage these realities and the five elements to impose pain, suffering, and destruction through witchcraft practices, fulfilling the mission of their master, Satan, whose goal is to steal, kill, and destroy.

Each time the enemy seeks to attack, they will use one of these five elements as a medium for aggression:

  • Earth: By commanding it against you, knowing that you are made of dust and walk upon it, to inflict physical disabilities and ailments.
  • Water: Knowing that the human body is made up of over 70% water and that every human being has, knowingly or unknowingly, some ancestral link with water spirits, which appear to be among the oldest spirits after the flood.
  • Wind or air: To spread words of curses or occult forces affecting thoughts, creating and propagating epidemics on a large scale, while inflicting undetectable respiratory illnesses.
  • Fire: By stirring anger (the inner fire of unregenerate humans), leading to conflicts that spark religious, ethnic, racial, or even global wars, such as the Second World War, which claimed over 60 million lives.

Today, with the rise of occult sects and the growing normalization and dissemination of witchcraft—even on television screens—we observe more and more attacks carried out through these five (05) elements. The wise words in Proverbs 24:6 (Sower Version) state:
Indeed, it is through good strategy that you win the battle, and victory is achieved with many advisors.

Thus, if you are attacked through fire, respond with fire; if through earth, respond with earth; if through water, respond with water; and if through wind or air, counterattack at that level.
