During these Christmas days, when we celebrate a divinely conceived child, I want to share testimonies of miraculous healings from medically confirmed sterility. Here is the confidential testimony of P., a man in his thirties, regarding his miraculous healing from sterility.

After four years of marriage, my wife and I were still unable to conceive a child. Medical tests showed that my wife had no issues with fertility. I then underwent medical examinations and analyses, and the verdict fell: I was infertile because my semen contained no sperm. It was hopeless.

I went through a period of complete depression and eventually confided in my mother, with whom I have always been close. She has strong faith and told me the story of Saint Francis de Sales’ mother, who conceived her son after praying at the place where the Church of the Visitation now stands in Annecy, my mother’s hometown. I didn’t believe a word of it, but then I had a dream. I called my workplace and said I was taking two days off. I drove straight to Annecy, a place I hadn’t visited since childhood. I parked my car, and it was freezing that day.

On foot, I climbed up to the Visitation. Once there, I didn’t know what to do or say, but I thought about the vision from my dream and spoke out loud, saying I was ready and that I wanted the child I had seen to come to life. At that moment, I don’t know why, but tears welled up in my eyes. Then, I felt an emptiness, and I was even tempted to leave. However, I still entered the church and sat down.

Everything was so calm, so peaceful. I stayed there, doing nothing, for about half an hour, and finally, I said:
— “I am ready; send me this child.” I had the impression that something soft descended upon me—or within me, I’m not sure. I thought I was crazy for believing in such a thing and that I had traveled 500 kilometers for nothing but a legend.

Back in my car, I checked my phone and saw that my wife had called—I had forgotten to inform her of my trip. I didn’t call her back. I returned home late at night and had to confide in her. She nodded, as she is an atheist, just as I had been. We reconciled in bed that night, and a few weeks later, I found out that I was going to be a father!

Conception had taken place the very night following my visit to the Visitation in Annecy. Was it possible? The doctor who had been following my case couldn’t believe that I had conceived a child but refrained from commenting. However, I had no doubt. I decided to undergo a new semen analysis, and to my surprise, everything was normal—I was fertile!

I had undergone several analyses in the months leading up to the conception, with no possibility of error! There was no longer any room for doubt. My son is magnificent, and since then, he has gained a little sister. I now have faith, and every day I thank the Most High for the grace He granted me. Yes, this place in Annecy is chosen by God to help men and women overcome infertility, and healing happens spontaneously.
