THE COVENANT PROVISION.
And the Lord shall make you the head and not the tail … Deuteronomy 28:13
For as many as are born again, are destined to be the head and not the tail, to be above only, and not beneath. Have you not read in Ephesians 2:6 that, God has raised you up, and made you sit in heavenly places with Christ? At new birth, your position is changed, you are catapulted from the ground to the top.
An understanding of the covenant of progress will greatly improve your mentality. If you can see that, progress is a part of the redemptive package, which ou received through Christ Jesus, you will not fold ur hands and watch the devil keep you in stagnation. ogress is your birthright; God has planted you in nt, and put others to line up behind you.
Even in the midst of famine, when other businesses are folding up, and people are selling their houses, you are destined to keep advancing and expanding on every side (Job 22:29). If you can believe that for yourself, your children, your career, your ministry, and your family, it shall be so for you, in Jesus name!
God’s Word says: “..The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”. Proverbs 4:18
According to God’s programme, you are ordained for a shining life, a speaking life, and nothing speaks like progress. Progress does not require advertisement and publicity, it speaks by itself. When you are progressive, everybody will know. Matthew 5:14 says, “You are a city set upon an hill that cannot be hid.” Not “You shall be a city upon an hill.” So, it is too late for the devil to hide you!
When my wife and I were nothing, so to say, we hardly heard from any relation, but when we began to progress, we started receiving all manner of letters and phone calls from names we had never heard before.
Progress speaks! That is your portion. As a righteous man, your path is designed to be as a shinning light whose intensity or brightness is constantly on the increase. It is in God’s programme for you to keep shining more and more, until the perfect day. That is to say, God does not have a plan of reduction for you.
The perfect day is the day of rapture, or the day when you lay down on your bed at a good old age, and after blessing your great grandchildren, you close your eyes, and cross over to the other side, to meet with Jesus.
That is your perfect day! The journey is still long for you, so it is too early to sit down and start commending yourself over anything now.
You must keep looking forward to the perfect day. So that by the time it is your turn to leave this world, the effect and impact of your life, would be so much, that people will keep talking about you, long after your departure.
Another thing about the covenant of progress is that, the past is not permitted to be better than the present.
That is why in this Kingdom, we never talk about ‘the good old days’. The old days can never be better than the present, because that is contrary to scriptures. God is always speaking progressively.
In Isaiah 43:18-19 He said, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing…”
As a covenant child, that is expected to be your language and your experience. Even when situations and circumstances around you look contrary, expect to emerge with a testimony of promotion and advancement, because that is God’s will for you.
“The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”. If you believe that word, your life cannot be anything less than a shinning light. It may not look like it at first, but the truth is, scriptures cannot be broken, it will surely come to pass. And I see it coming to pass for you, in the name of Jesus…
