THE GOD OF THE SUPERNATURAL.
If we are to discuss supernatural faith, we must focus on the one who is the essence of our faith. We must seek to understand what kinds of accomplishments He has made, making Him the God of the supernatural above all.
Indeed, the faith that never fails comes from God; it cannot come from man. Why? Simply because what comes from man is unstable. What a man produces by his own strength bears fruit for a time. Everything that comes from man cannot bear the mark of the supernatural. A natural being cannot generate the supernatural; what comes from man is natural.
For me, the natural is defined as all things created or made that can find an explanation or be understood by anyone endowed with intelligence or logic. It will suffice to have a method or an explanatory process for what is natural to be understood by anyone, whether they are a child of God or not, whether they are a believer or not; what is natural can be decoded without much difficulty because it is normal for all understanding.
On the other hand, God operates in the realm of the supernatural. In this realm, everything that happens is not entirely understood by everyone. As we go through the Bible, especially the Old Testament, the men chosen and used by God did not all understand His ways of working. Some were graced to know God at a certain dimension. This gave them access to certain secrets, but despite this, there were things they could not understand.
This is the supernatural of God; when He works, He does not take natural phenomena into account. In the supernatural, things happen that surpass human logic. The supernatural is a universe superior to the earthly world. It is a universe that does not follow the laws of nature or a system of rational explanation.
To go further, I would say that everything that happens and unfolds in the supernatural is done and known by God alone. No man in all his wisdom can fully understand the things of God.
When addressing the topic of faith that never fails, I asked myself the following question: “If there is a faith that never fails, does that mean there is a faith that fails?” And I came to the conclusion that there is indeed a faith that fails. And what is this faith that always fails? The faith that always fails is a faith where man believes in himself, in his abilities, and in his intelligence.
In other words, it is a natural faith devoid of Divine DNA. The faith discussed in this book involves God and His Divine character. And we all know that what comes from God is supernatural; therefore, we understand that faith in God leads us to also live in the supernatural, to accomplish things that are not of the natural order, to live a life on earth that has nothing to do with what is common.
This is what our faith in God should look like. If we are truly His children, we must reflect His identity and nature. As natural as we are, we can live the supernatural through faith in God…
