“I was with you every day in the temple, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” Luke 22:53

Just as darkness cannot withstand light, midnight battles cannot resist midnight prayers either. The midnight hour is of great spiritual significance as it marks the period when days change. It is a time of intense spiritual activities and satanic operations.

Night is the period when most human beings are not alert (Exodus 12:29). The destroyer visited Egypt at night. Laban changed Jacob’s wife at night – (Genesis 29:23-29). The midnight hour hosts many powers that outnumber those of the day. The Psalmist said:

“You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.” (Psalm 91:5-6).

Terror and pestilence are part of the powers of the night that must be faced and overcome.

In our Fire Word today (Judges 6:25-27), the Lord gave Gideon a strategic instruction to destroy the altar of his father’s house and keep the second seven-year-old bull for sacrifice because the bull was the idol of his father’s house, feeding on fat to the glory of the children born in that family.

I decree by the power of the name of Jesus, enemy altars, enemy idols, and every sanctuary that has resisted your glory from rising and shining, let fire consume them today, in the name of Jesus (Judges 6:25-26).

Dear beloved, after this, Gideon was able to become who he was created to be. It’s because he led a deliverance operation during the night and emerged victorious. Are you in the midst of a battle?

Are you facing long-term problems and afflictions? Try midnight prayer. Is there a strongman who has vowed to destroy you? Start midnight prayers, and you will be victorious. But before you can engage in midnight prayers, you must be born again and fully give your life to Jesus. Then, He will lead your battles. You should also be addicted to the Bible.

Every power assigned to turn your bedroom into a battlefield will die by the Mighty Name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Midnight arrows in my body, come out and return to your senders by fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power in any place organizing battles for me at midnight, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Problems that entered my life at the hour of the night, come out and die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Powers assigned to prolong the journey of my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Spirit of the Holy Ghost, envelop my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. I will not be afraid of the terror of the night, in the name of Jesus.
7. Pestilence that walks in darkness, I am not your candidate, be scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.
