Matthew 18:19 says: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.”

▪ The first obstacle is the difficulty of agreeing.

Prayer must be made by people who agree, who share the same feeling, the same love, the same faith; they have mutual trust, they all clearly understand the prayer request, and they all have the same feeling toward those for whom they are praying in the name of Jesus Christ. The devil has succeeded in dividing us; we pray together, but we lack love.

We are not united. The Holy Spirit helped me understand a reality: Church intercession groups are divided, yet they pray for the church and others. This is why there are no results in their intercession. I clearly heard in my spirit, “Any collective prayer without agreement is a waste of time. It gives glory to the devil…” There will be an answer only if we agree before praying.

History teaches us that the greatest spiritual revivals began after elderly people prayed in one accord for years (such as the Welsh Revival).

N.B: Advice for the couple reading this book:

Couples should not pray out of hypocrisy; if you are not in agreement, talk to your husband or wife before you pray or intercede together. When you are in agreement, pray and intercede, and that is when you will receive answers.

Some husbands impose prayer requests on their wives while the wife does not agree; this is why there are failures in your collective prayers…
