For as he thinks within himself, so he is. He says to you, ‘Eat and drink!’ But his heart is not with you.” Proverbs 23:7.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,” Ephesians 3:20.

In this chapter, we will talk about the power of imagination. Imagination is a part of thought or, if you will, of the soul. But we would like to emphasize particular facts concerning this principle of imagination. We defined thought as a set of images. We believe that is the common point. The contrast is that you can think without being able to use the power that thought gives you. So, you can have images without being able to materialize them. We will see how to use the power of imagination to achieve your goals.

Let’s quickly go to the book of Genesis. God promises to make Abraham the father of nations and to give him a great offspring. In the course of this process, God asked Abraham to count the stars of the sky and the sand of the sea.

What was God doing? God was leading Abraham to exercise a power:

The power of imagination is to create images corresponding to your dreams and to imprint them in your mind or your subconscious. It is a pleasant exercise that transforms the world within you. If Abraham could not understand God’s promise through the images of the stars and the sand, he could grasp the corresponding image of God’s promise. The power of imagination is not just manifested by what you have looked at. But you must learn to keep, to meditate, and to immerse yourself in the life of these images.

The more you live these images, the faster your dream comes true. It’s the same case for Joseph. God uses dreams and visions to communicate His divine plan to him. Flee from bad images. Satan, through his cunning, will introduce bad images into your dreams. Reject them immediately.

How to activate the power of imagination?

i. Decide on the world you want to create;

ii. Seek images that match your dreams (the best source is the word of God);

iii. Imprint these images in your mind;

iv. Confess exactly what you have created in your imagination;

v. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the emotions of these images;

vi. Refuse to conform to contradictory situations;

vii. Understand that you need time for the manifestation of the process: do not abort it;

viii. It’s a principle that will change your life.

Confession: Today, I receive the grace to discipline myself to hold glorious images in my thoughts. I paint holy, pure, glorious images in my mind. My gallery of images corresponds to the images of the word of God. I am renewed in my mind. I am blessed, and I am the triumphant world.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, you answer what I ask and also what I think. You also search my thoughts. I pray through the work of redemption and the assistance of the Holy Spirit that the bad images in my mind be completely evacuated. I receive the strength, grace, and power to discipline myself through the meditation of your word. I threaten the evil birds that come to steal your word in me. I destroy them with your devouring fire. My mind is holy and fruitful to produce images of triumph.
