“So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” Romans 9:16

Mercy can make your case different among members of your family. Mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown to someone who deserves punishment. The Bible says it is by the mercy of God that we are not consumed. It is interesting to note how often we are in relationship with God. Many don’t truly know who He is. We think we know, but often we do not. God is not partly merciful; He is the embodiment of mercy. God is everything mercy can hope to be. He is full of compassion.

God’s mercy has the power to strike your name off the register of premature deaths. Mercy has the ability to move you from the minimum to the maximum. It has the capacity to move you from the back to the front. God is not partial but shows mercy to all whom He loves. Mercy operates on the basis of love. In Romans 9:13, as it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

When mercy speaks, your mistake is forgotten. When mercy speaks, you are loved by all, including your enemy. When mercy speaks, proceedings are suspended in your favor. Mercy has the ability to suspend things until you are ready. I pray that today, the mercy of God accompanies you, in the name of Jesus. It is mercy that opens the door to forgiveness. Mercy is what has united us all as believers despite our differences. Therefore, we should be ready to forgive others, demonstrating to them compassion, kindness, and love, just as God has demonstrated to us. Let mercy make its way in everything you do.

The benefits of God’s mercy include peace, love, joy, and full fulfillment in life. It is God’s mercy that transforms the chaos of this world into a message to reach this dying world. When God’s mercy is at work in a man’s life, evil judgment has no power over such a person. When mercy is in place, your rightful position is not only given to you but upheld forever. When God’s mercy is in place, forgiveness becomes easy. When mercy has forgiven you, grace carries you into effortless victory and fluidity in life.

If you want to continually enjoy the mercy and grace of God in your life, you must approach the throne of grace and be crucified with Jesus. God’s mercy will distinguish you for exceptional breakthroughs this year, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Grace and mercy of God, locate me today, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father Lord, make me a candidate of exceptional mercy, in the name of Jesus.
3. Where I cannot defend myself, mercy of God, speak in my favor, in the name of Jesus.
4. By the mercy of God, I shall not end up in hell, in the name of Jesus.
5. I receive the Power of God through mercy, in the name of Jesus.
6. The Grace to be distinguished among my peers, descend upon me, in the name of Jesus.
7. Mercy of God, be my companion every day of my life, in the name of Jesus.
