The blessing in your life is as strong as the blessing upon your life! Your prophetic covering determines your destiny covering! Your father is your feather, helping you to soar into your future. He is your ladder. Therefore, to go further in your life journey, you need a father, not just feathers!

You have probably heard stories of many young men and women who could not continue their education because they lost their fathers. Such stories abound in Africa and the third world. As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. To go further in your destiny, you need a father!

The blessing you experience in life is proportional to the blessing that comes upon your life. You are blessed according to the measure of the blessing from the higher realms of your life. If there is no one to bless you from above, there is a limit to the extent you will be blessed on earth.

“By a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.” Hosea 12:13

Your prophetic covering determines your destiny covering! The strength of the prophetic covering you have over you determines the width, depth, and duration of your destiny covering!

“Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. He had flocks of sheep, herds of cattle, and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:12-14

Isaac’s blessing was contained in the impact he received from his father. The father’s blessing was the secret of Isaac’s success and prosperity.

“The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22

To truly understand the power of the father’s blessing, it is very important to know what the blessing is and what it can do. The Hebrew word for blessing is “Barak,” meaning the ability to release hidden treasures and potentials or to be empowered to prosper. Thus, the blessing is God acting on your behalf! The blessing is a mystery, and it takes a mysterious person to understand and activate the blessing. The blessing is greater than money, education, houses, a good job, etc.

The blessing is not money, but what produces money. The activation of the blessing comes through revelation. Education is just man transmitting knowledge to man, but revelation is God transmitting knowledge to man. The blessing “enriches.” The blessing is a catalyst, a provoker, and an accelerator of true wealth. It is when you are blessed that you can truly be rich.

“Therefore, may it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You; for You, O LORD, have blessed it, and it shall be blessed forever.” 1 Chronicles 17:27

Only what God blesses is truly blessed. The blessing is a creator (Proverbs 10:22). Once you come into contact with the blessing, you will be shaped at all costs. If the blessing is a manufacturer, it indicates that activation is a choice and a scale of preference. If you need the blessing, pursue it and fight for it because your fight will precede your flight! A blessed man is favored, and if you are favored, you are fragrant!

From today, you will smell good because you wear a divine perfume (sweet aroma) (2 Corinthians 2:14-15). When a man carries the blessing, he produces a change in the atmosphere wherever he goes (Genesis 26:12-13). A blessed man, everything his hands touch will prosper because he has been empowered to prosper.

The blessing seems like a mystery, but it is a supernatural favor or divine acceptance, opportunity, and productivity. A blessed man holds the key to open all doors. If you are blessed and work in an office, the day you leave the office, the company will close down (Read these two Scriptures: Genesis 30:27, Genesis 39:2-5).

“I know that since you came into my house, everything I do prospers.”

“Now the LORD said to Abram: ‘Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’” Genesis 12:1-3

The blessing will make you a blessing. If your blessing is not yet to bless others, you are not yet blessed! What was called “blessing” in the Old Testament is what we call “anointing” today (1 Samuel 10:1 and 3-7).

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” John 1:12

Child of God, the day you were born again, the power (the ability to cause lasting change) was deposited in you: the power to become the son of God, the divine ability to cause lasting change.

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

It is the power and authority over powers!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” Ephesians 3:20

God’s power – the blessing is already upon you, and it is the power within you that will accomplish exceedingly abundantly what you think and ask for. Listen, once you are born again, you are endowed with blessings (power, anointing) (Ephesians 1:3). “There is a blessing on the head of the righteous” (Proverbs 10:6).

“The blessing of the upright exalts a city” (Proverbs 11:11).

In Genesis 12 verse 4, when Abraham left his father’s house, it was the beginning of the manifestation of the blessing. The keys that command the blessing are yours:
