Projection is simply the act of blaming others. It is a rejection of responsibility, a refusal to take ownership. After sinning, after defying the command and crossing the boundary, Adam and Eve did not directly take responsibility for their actions. One blamed the woman, who in turn blamed the serpent. We sometimes behave this way too. You made a mistake, knowingly and willingly, yet you blame someone else.

In a certain way, the serpent is guilty, but it only “tempted.” We often blame others, attributing all fault to demons and Satan. Know this: they will never push you to the limit (1 Corinthians 10:13). It was your choice to listen to them.

Satan is like a drug dealer who comes to sell his product. He uses strong arguments, he advertises his product well, and he is so convincing that he can easily seduce you. But in no case will he force your hand. He won’t be the one to take the money out of your wallet.

Did a friend suggest you go out drinking all night? Did a man or woman ask you to sleep with them? You accepted their propositions. Once the act is done and guilt sets in, to avoid your responsibilities and not face reality, you project…
