There are several ways to learn from a mentor, but the most powerful one is the method my brother used with Mr. Casava. Tony told me that this gentleman was very meticulous in his work. He spent a lot of time designing and crafting a t-shirt, but the result was outstanding.

Neglecting the crucial role of a mentor is equivalent to missing out on one’s destiny. Unfortunately, I see many people making this mistake. They try many things and never succeed because they lack a mentor. The reason why a mentor is in your life is simply that they possess your talents, but at a more advanced level.

The Holy Scriptures are rich in stories, parables, and anecdotes illustrating the undeniable role of a mentor. In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 1, verse 26, it is written:
“In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David.“

The virgin’s name was Mary. In this portion of Scripture, we see the power of mentoring; here is Mary meeting the angel, who gives her the message of her life’s mission, her destiny to be the mother of Jesus, who will be the Messiah, the savior of humanity. She asks joyfully:

“How will this be, since I am a virgin (have not had sexual relations)?” And the angel replied: “Do not worry, the Spirit of God will come upon you and overshadow you with His presence.“

The Spirit of God descending upon Mary symbolically represents the image of the dream you receive about your destiny. Sometimes, in your sleep, you dream of yourself in the future, accomplishing great things and achieving remarkable feats.

It is the Spirit of God that gives this vision to the humans He chooses. He shows them a picture of what they will become in the future. This vision also represents the seed God places in your subconscious to serve as a guide, a beacon, for fulfilling your destiny.

It’s as if man receives, clearly in his spirit, a map of his destiny…
