Satan is not afraid of you, but he fears your diligence in fasting, consecration, and fire. The prince of Persia, the demon in the atmosphere, controlled that nation and ruled in the natural through the physical prince of Persia.

“But the prince of the kingdom of Persia resisted me for twenty-one days; but behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:13

What was the role of the Prince in the atmosphere? He fought against the glory of God and prevented the angel from coming down to deliver answers to Daniel, hindering God’s plan for the nations. Michael had to fight to get God’s message through the Prince who controlled the air. Gabriel couldn’t stop him.

The rank of the Prince of Persia was stronger than that of Gabriel. Gabriel was a messenger and was not designed for war. Thus, the prince of Persia in the atmosphere held back Gabriel’s message to Daniel. Gabriel had to send a message to headquarters, saying, “Sir, I am held up here.”

The Lord had to release Michael, the angel of war, who engaged with the prince of Persia. Not that Michael defeated him—they were in battle, and during this war, the prince of Persia was distracted. This is when Gabriel found an opening to escape to earth and deliver the message.

There is a literal journey. These wars are real. Let no one tell you it was only in the Old Testament. Now, we are in the New Testament. Hallelujah! No more battles; you are in Christ, and Christ is in you. In the New Testament, did Paul not fight the beast of Ephesus? I thought Christ had finished the battle. He says:

“If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me if the dead do not rise? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” 1 Corinthians 15:32

He fought and overcame the Prince of Ephesus. We are overthrowing the princes of evil spirits in the atmosphere in the name of Jesus Christ. Do you know who you are? You are a King. Your authority is greater than that of Michael.

You need a shift in mindset. You were created in His image. You look like God. When spirits see you, they behold His image and likeness. Let this permeate your being. Michael is an angel; you are a son of God. Return to Eden. God said, “Let them have dominion.” Do you know that Michael is one of God’s dominions?

If only you knew. What enabled Michael to overcome Satan when disputing over Moses’ body? He said he couldn’t defeat him by his own power. In fact, when Satan himself came to claim Moses’ body, Michael couldn’t overcome him. The authority that Satan had over Moses’ body was stronger than Michael’s authority.

Remember, God sent Michael to retrieve Moses’ body. Satan stood and said, “No.” He couldn’t do it. The energies, the power, resisted Michael. You see, when you speak of power, you speak of resistance to accomplish something. Satan stood there with vibrations and frequencies, and that’s why the Bible says:

“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

In the midst of resistance, Satan is not afraid of you, but he fears your diligence in fasting, consecration, and fire. Michael had to use the name of the Lord. He told Satan, “Now, I am using an authority higher than yours.” For me, I do not have this authority. Let the Lord rebuke you. As soon as Michael said, “The Lord Yeshua,” Satan then withdrew his energies. Who are you under the rank of Yeshua? Do you see how you are greater than Michael? Do you know who you are? You have been adopted into the fellowship of the sons of God. You carry the presence of the Lord. Do you know who you are? You are the one in whom Jesus lives. You host Christ, the living and active Word of God…
