THE TERRITORY, A LIVING AND MYSTERIOUS ENTITY.
At first glance, territories may appear to be inanimate or lifeless entities. However, spirituality teaches us otherwise, for in the spiritual realm, everything is dynamic and in constant motion. What we consider lifeless on earth is, in fact, alive in the invisible world.
As living entities, territories have an impact on our universe. They have ears and mouths.
“As soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, along with their households and all the men who belonged to Korah, with all their goods.” (Numbers 16:31-33)
The ground beneath your feet is indeed alive. Three men rebelled against Moses: Korah, Dathan, and Abiram accused the man of God of taking them out of Egypt, where they claimed they were living in abundance. These individuals had not yet overcome the mentality of Egypt, a land where they had been enslaved for 430 years, a land of servitude and a furnace of iron:
“Remember this day, when you came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” (Exodus 13:3)
“But the Lord has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 4:20)
These rebels needed mental freedom because, although they had physically left Egypt, Egypt had not yet left them. They kept referring to their past, thinking of the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, and onions they ate, while forgetting that God is a God of miracles and can do anything. They failed to appreciate God’s works, such as:
- The ten plagues
- The crossing of the Red Sea and the destruction of the Egyptians
- The purification of Marah’s waters
- The manna from heaven
- Water flowing from the rock
Through all these miracles, the Lord wanted to show them that He would provide a better future. They had been slaves in a foreign land, but God had promised them their own territory where they could live in peace. It is a grave mistake to return to something from which God has already delivered you. They accused the man of God of ruling over them. By making this claim, the rebels sought to gain authority; they coveted the priesthood, meaning they wanted to overthrow Aaron and take over his role. But they forgot that when God anoints someone, He establishes and protects them by His laws. That’s why it is written:
“Do not touch My anointed ones.” (Psalm 105:15)
The anointed ones carry God’s sacred anointing and hold positions in His kingdom. They perform signs and miracles that confirm their calling, and they know that God is truly on their side. Moses confirmed this by saying:
“By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own accord. If these men die as all men do, or if they are visited by the common fate of all men, then the Lord has not sent me. But if the Lord creates something new, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the Lord.” As soon as he finished speaking these words, the ground under them split apart. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, along with their households and all the men who belonged to Korah, with all their goods.” (Numbers 16:28-32)
The anointing of God’s servant caused even the earth to listen and carry out his commands. You must not only speak to God, but you should also command the elements of nature. Jesus stopped a storm:
“And He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ Then the wind died down, and it became perfectly calm.” (Mark 4:39)
Stopping the storm wasn’t Jesus’ responsibility; it was the disciples’. Since they interrupted His sleep, He acted on their behalf and then said to them: “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” (Mark 4:40) Sometimes you pray and wait for God’s intervention, while He is waiting for you to take action for your own good.
The Almighty spoke to the earth to produce all kinds of fruits; therefore, there are hidden secrets in territories. Let me draw your attention to an important reality. In certain neighborhoods where you see residents living in poverty and following the same lifestyle, it’s often due to territorial curses.
There are sorcerers who offer sacrifices to demons in these areas, and because the earth is alive, it records their sacrifices and submits to their demands. In some regions, you may notice that young girls become pregnant early, while most boys spend their time playing games, despite being graduates with the skills to secure good jobs.
In other areas, everything people attempt seems destined to fail. When you observe such patterns, it often indicates the influence of witchcraft affecting the territory, causing failure, blockages, delays, and even the theft of people’s destinies.
